PathMD’s GI Pathology team provides the client with the highest level of medical expertise, personal service and diagnostic quality available in the nation.

The GI Pathology team is led by a Professor of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine at Cedars-Sinai Pathology. In addition to endoscopic biopsy interpretation, our staff are also experts in resections from all gastrointestinal sites. Liver and pancreatic pathology services are included:

• Consultation services for problematic and unusual cases
• Immunohistochemistry
• Molecular studies for GI malignancies including carcinoma, lymphoma and sarcoma
• Rapid diagnosis of biopsy specimens
• Adenoma Detection Rates for hyperplastic and adenoma polyps
